Overview
In this role you will help turn data into insights that support scientific and business decisions. You start by assisting ongoing projects and will take ownership of a project after six months. You apply machine learning and statistics to real-world challenges, collaborating with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders. You will communicate findings and contribute to deploying and monitoring data science solutions, in a Cambridge on-site setting.

Responsibilities
- Explore, clean, and transform datasets from multiple sources
- Apply statistical and ML techniques to solve business problems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into defined problems
- Communicate findings via visualisations, presentations, and written recommendations
- Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of data science solutions
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative subject
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts (supervised and unsupervised)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
