Technical Project Manager

Overview

In this role, you will drive business transformation and operational improvement through a blend of project management and business analysis. You will bridge business and technology teams, ensuring governance, documentation, and clear stakeholder engagement. You will map processes, analyse data flows, and translate requirements into actionable solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver changes that streamline operations and enable efficient delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, tracking, governance, and reporting
• Prepare status updates, RAID logs, action trackers, and steering materials
• Coordinate activities across business, operations, technology, and third parties
• Monitor progress and escalate risks or dependencies
• Support governance standards and project controls
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements via workshops and interviews
• Analyse current and future-state processes and map workflows
• Produce BRDs, Functional Specifications, data flow maps, data mapping docs, and impact assessments
• Facilitate process improvement workshops and Lean/Kaizen initiatives
• Create high-level and detailed process flow diagrams and state maps
• Identify data dependencies and transformation rules
• Engage with business users and stakeholders to communicate complex information

Key requirements

• 2-5 years in BA/PM/Process Analyst or related role in Banking/Financial Services/Operations/Technology/Change Delivery
• Experience analysing operational processes and identifying improvement opportunities
• Strong process mapping and workflow documentation skills
• Experience documenting business and functional requirements
• Ability to document data flows and data mappings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail and documentation quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Chat GPT
