Overview
In this role you support commercial refrigeration systems on client sites, progressing toward an industrial scope with structured on‑the‑job training. You will diagnose and resolve issues within defined SLAs, collaborating with senior engineers and expanding expertise in ammonia, CO₂ and HFC systems used in large facilities. The position combines hands-on service with continuous learning, safety focus, and cross‑functional teamwork. You will be embedded in a mobile, field‑based environment, contributing to reliable operation for meat, beverage, cold storage and manufacturing customers.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve commercial refrigeration systems on site within defined timelines
- Assist and learn from industrial refrigeration engineers to broaden expertise
- Support maintenance and service activities under defined processes and service agreements
- Work safely and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to site success
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure service quality
Key requirements
- F-GAS 2079 card (CO₂, A2L, HC advantageous)
- Refrigeration apprenticeship or recognized refrigeration qualification (C&G etc.)
- Experience with a variety of commercial refrigeration systems
- Understanding of electrical, fluid, piping schemes and psychrometric diagrams
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work with limited supervision and without documented procedures
