Senior Technical Product Owner – Logistics SAP

Overview

As part of the SAP Product Management team within GIS, you will own the strategy and evolution of the SAP Logistics product landscape. You’ll collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to shape direction, maintain a multi-year roadmap, and ensure delivery with value, resilience, and cost control. You’ll drive governance, standards, and continuous improvements across SAP platforms. This role offers meaningful impact by aligning platform capabilities with business priorities and future needs.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap and ongoing development of the SAP Logistics product landscape
• Shape platform direction by engaging Technology Office, GIS and wider business
• Develop multi-year roadmap for deployment, adoption and service evolution
• Define standards and procedures for SAP HR solutions design, build, test and use
• Lead delivery of investments and continuous improvements within time, cost and quality
• Drive product planning including backlog prioritisation, user stories and EPICs
• Oversee solution design, build, testing, implementation and production transition
• Ensure services are resilient and deliver value for money
• Manage third-party providers and enforce strong operational governance
• Provide leadership to teams and partners to build capability and delivery focus

Key requirements

• Strong SAP Logistics platform knowledge
• Experience developing product strategy and roadmaps
• Knowledge of ITIL, SAFe and DevSecOps frameworks
• Ability to balance multiple stakeholder priorities and translate needs into outcomes
• Strong project and delivery management skills
• Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in customer- and user-facing environments with influencing and prioritization skills
• Collaborative leadership across a matrix organisation
