Director Security Architecture

Overview

In this senior role you will own the security architecture direction and technology strategy for a large, global organisation. You’ll lead a team of specialist security architects across network, cloud, AI and enterprise security, acting as a trusted adviser to the CISO and technology leadership. You will shape approaches to emerging technologies, own architectural standards, and contribute to major transformation programmes. You’ll engage with industry forums to bring new thinking into the organisation. This is a strategic, leadership-focused position at the intersection of technology strategy and executive advisory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security architects across network, cloud, AI and enterprise security
• Advise the CISO and senior technology leadership on security architecture and strategy
• Define architectural standards and design patterns for the organisation
• Provide strategic input at inception of major transformation programmes
• Engage with external industry forums to bring market developments back in-house
• Drive thought leadership and establish governance around emerging technologies and tooling

Key requirements

• Significant enterprise security architecture experience
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders
• Technical breadth across cloud, networks, AI and modern security technologies
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA
