Overview
In this role you will lead the global Accounts Receivable function within the new shared services structure, driving timely invoicing, collections, and customer relations. You will partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Audit teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective controls. You’ll develop standard processes for OTC, credit, and collections, and manage a high-performing AR team to support cash flow and reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing luxury beauty business with a focus on accuracy and risk management.

Responsibilities
- Oversee invoice creation and distribution to customers
- Lead timely collection and accurate allocation of customer payments
- Maintain positive customer relations and resolve billing disputes
- Coordinate with Commercial and Supply Chain on billing, accruals, returns, and deductions
- Manage relationships with 3rd party insurance brokers to minimise non-collectable invoices
- Contribute to global OTC processes, credit and collections controls
- Monitor daily transaction activity on Stripe/PayPal/Afterpay/ClexPay (ClearPay)
- Provide receivables and collections reporting for cash flow and subsidiary ADR reports
- Manage month-end close and AR sub-ledger reconciliation to GL
- Lead and develop the AR team with performance reviews and prioritisation
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations; support audits
Key requirements
- University degree in Finance preferred
- CICM certification essential
- Experience in managing 3rd party insurance coverage for uncollectible invoices
- Knowledge of Global OTC policies, credit and collections in an MNC
- Shared Services experience desirable
- Experience in luxury or FMCG sectors desirable
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
