Solution Architect

Overview

As a Solution Architect at Retail Reply, you will craft architecture propositions that align with client business strategies and drive value across digital transformation initiatives in retail. You will collaborate with client architects and business teams, balancing traditional methods with new approaches to deliver scalable, agile solutions. You’ll contribute to pre-sales activities and help develop Retail Reply IP, shaping delivery frameworks and best practices. This role offers exposure to omnichannel, microservices, and capability-led planning in a fast, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality architecture propositions to clients
• Combine innovative and proven frameworks to shape solutions
• Adapt approaches to meet client needs and expectations
• Support pre-sales activities and contribute to IP development
• Learn and apply traditional and new architectural methods to drive engineering changes
• Deliver value by applying agile and varied delivery modes to maximize client investments

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related technology field
• Owned and created complete architectures with documentation
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management
• Excellent understanding of integration, data, application, infrastructure and business domains; expert in at least one domain
• Ability to articulate architectural vision through capability-led planning
• Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, POET, PEAF)
