Engagement Manager – R&D Business Consulting

Overview

As Engagement Manager in our R&D Business Consulting practice, you will lead end-to-end, high-impact engagements, shaping how clients in life sciences operate with Technology, Data and AI. You will manage senior relationships, guide teams, and drive measurable business value across Clinical, Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance domains. You’ll work in a global team delivering diverse projects for large and mid-sized life sciences organizations. Responsibilities

• Act as the end-to-end lead on complex, large-scale engagements
• Build and navigate senior customer relationships; lead proposals and long-term account strategy
• Lead and inspire teams of 4+ consultants across multiple projects
• Manage project budgets of $1M+ and ensure project health and commercial success
• Support branding and internal IP development to keep the practice at the forefront

Key requirements

• 8+ years in Life Sciences Consulting (Business or Management Consulting preferred)
• Proven leadership of large project teams and $1M+ engagements
• Domain knowledge in Clinical Data/Operations, Regulatory or Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety
• Highly analytical problem-solving mindset with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
