Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor needed for a long-term residential regeneration scheme in South East London. You join the commercial team of a regional main contractor to oversee cost and commercial delivery on a major regeneration project, including RC frame experience. The role supports phase 2 work as Phase 1 completes and focuses on value, risk, and financial performance across a multi-year programme. This is an opportunity to shape a large, community-scale regeneration with long-term impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial delivery on a large residential regeneration scheme
• Support progression of Phase 2 work following Phase 1 completion
• Apply RC frame experience to cost planning and procurement on the project
• Maintain cost control, budgeting, and value management across the programme
• Collaborate with site teams and external stakeholders to ensure commercial targets are met
• Prepare and manage procurement strategies and contract administration as needed

Key requirements

• Degree qualification (ideally)
• Experience with reputable main contractor or residential developer
• Experience on large residential/regeneration schemes
• Excellent commercial skills and awareness
• Full driving license
• Ability to commute to South East London daily
