Interactive & Creative Media (ICM) Associate

Overview

As a solicitor in the Interactive & Creative Media team, you will handle a range of commercial contracting matters for a prestigious media client base. You will work on transactional and advisory work spanning IP, data protection, and consumer issues, developing strong client relationships. The role offers early responsibility within a supportive, entrepreneurial culture and opportunities to contribute to business development. You will operate in a sector-leading firm known for its media, entertainment and technology focus and long-term career progression. This is a high-growth, high-impact position in a top-tier London practice.

Responsibilities

• manage own caseload across commercial contracting matters
• draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements (terms & conditions, consultancy, distribution, franchise, NDAs, website terms, service, IP licences, production, brand and influencer, podcast)
• provide transactional and advisory support on IP, consumer and data protection issues
• build trusted relationships with clients and understand their business needs
• support junior colleagues and contribute to firm culture
• potential involvement in business development and client base expansion

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor (England and Wales) with 3–6 years PQE
• solid experience in interactive and creative media matters
• strong production experience is highly attractive
• excellent technical ability with attention to detail
• commercial mindset and client-facing experience
• ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
