Overview

In this role you manage a varied PI caseload in a respected firm’s team in Greater Manchester, handling fast track and multi-track RTA matters along with employers’ and public liability claims. You work from instruction to settlement or trial, coordinating with experts and counsel in a tech-enabled, collaborative environment. Your focus is delivering strong client care and efficient case progression while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied fast track and multi-track RTA caseload along with employers’ liability and public liability claims
• Own files from instruction through to settlement or trial
• Conduct liability investigations, collect evidence and draft pleadings
• Instruct and liaise with experts and counsel; negotiate towards resolution
• Ensure compliance with procedural rules and court deadlines
• Utilise the firm’s case management system to support efficient file handling
• Adopt a proactive, collaborative approach in a technology-driven, well-resourced environment
• Support continuous professional development and adapt to new ways of working

Key requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ PQE in personal injury law
• Experience handling fast track and multi-track RTA matters
• Experience with employer’s liability and public liability claims
• Strong technical expertise and robust organisational/time management skills
• Proactive, enthusiastic, highly motivated with excellent client care
• Ability to work autonomously within a supportive team and engage in CPD
• Willingness to adopt new ways of working
