Overview

In this role you will own the day-to-day performance and presentation of a premium Central London office asset, ensuring exceptional occupier experience and high operating standards. You’ll operate within an established estate management framework while taking direct ownership of service delivery, compliance and financial performance. The position offers autonomy with strong corporate backing and potential hybrid working, making it a meaningful step into a landlord-led, occupier-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and presentation of the building
  • Foster proactive communication and strong relationships with occupiers
  • Manage annual service charge budget, expenditure and management accounts
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and up-to-date procedures
  • Coordinate hard and soft services procurement, tendering and contractor performance
  • Act as Responsible Person during emergencies and maintain procedures
  • Interface with neighbouring properties and relevant stakeholders
  • Support occupier onboarding, fit-outs and flexible workspace operations
  • Maintain building records and operating procedures
  • Support lifecycle planning, fabric management and longer-term improvement initiatives

Key requirements

  • Experience in commercial building management
  • Experience managing or supporting high-quality office assets
  • Strong grounding in H&S compliance, contractor management, service charge and building operations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with occupiers, suppliers and senior stakeholders
