Senior Transport Planner

Overview

In this role you will apply professional judgment to deliver transport planning work and manage client relationships within a Bristol-based team. You will lead Vision Led Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans and help secure and deliver projects across residential, commercial, retail and energy sectors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, grow client networks, and support fee proposals while staying updated on policy changes. Responsibilities

• Deliver Vision Led Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans
• Develop client relationships to secure work and negotiate fees
• Plan and conduct client engagement activities with team support
• Ensure project profitability with guidance from Project Directors
• Keep up-to-date with technical, legal and policy changes

Key requirements

• Relevant degree (or higher) and membership of a professional body (MCIHT or similar)
• Ideally 5+ years UK experience in transport planning
• Experience in consultancy or equivalent environment
• Proven project delivery capabilities and client management skills
• Strong software modelling capabilities (e.g. JUNCTIONS, LINSIG)
