Overview
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will help grow the Infrastructure Design capability for major developments. You will work with the Infrastructure team to deliver drainage design, flood risk assessments and SUDS solutions for planning and detailed design stages. You’ll produce drawings, reports and calculations to support planning applications and project delivery. The role combines technical design with project coordination in a collaborative, growth-focused consultancy environment. This is an opportunity to shape drainage strategies across residential, retail, industrial and commercial projects.

Responsibilities
- Produce planning and detailed design drawings and calculations for drainage, SUDS and building drainage
- Create flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning applications
- Prepare and issue drawings, specifications and reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project workflows
- Support adherence to design codes, standards and regulatory procedures (e.g., S104)
Key requirements
- 3+ years post-degree experience in a similar role
- Experience in private sector development from a consultancy or multi-disciplinary background
- Proven project management and strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, strategic and analytical approach; able to work collaboratively and independently
- People-focused with ability to generate and implement new ideas
- Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE, CIHT, CIWEM) preferred
- Knowledge of SuDS Manual, Sewers for Adoption and other design/regulatory standards
- Experience using Microdrainage and AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of sewer, SUDS, planning and adoption procedures including S104
