Overview
In this role you shape and govern AAK’s global supply chain transformation. You align regional execution with global strategy, translating priorities into actionable roadmaps and governance. You’ll lead a cross-functional agenda, drive change management, and provide decision-ready insights to executives. This is a strategic, non-operational role focused on improving organizational performance and collaboration across regions and functions.

Responsibilities
- Manage the operating rhythm of the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT) including agendas, governance routines, decision logs, and action follow-up
- Translate strategic priorities into initiatives with clear ownership, milestones, performance measures, and roadmaps
- Facilitate alignment between global supply chain strategy and regional execution across functions and geographies
- Coordinate the global portfolio of Supply Chain transformation initiatives, monitor progress, manage interdependencies, and escalate risks
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, project standards, dashboards, and performance metrics for transparency on progress and outcomes
- Support initiative sponsors through planning, execution, and benefit realization phases
- Develop and implement change management strategies for new processes, systems, operating models, and ways of working
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication including change impact assessments and adoption measurement
- Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and Communities of Practice across regions and disciplines
- Support Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence with capability-building, training programs, and leadership events
- Drive adoption of Supply Chain methodologies, governance practices, and digital capabilities to strengthen effectiveness
- Prepare executive-level reporting and governance presentations for informed decision-making
- Ensure consistent communication of strategic priorities, progress, decisions, and key messages across the organization
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5–8 years in Supply Chain, Business Transformation, or Program/Project Management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and continuous improvement
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations
- Knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management methodologies
- Experience with organizational transformation and structured change management
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with senior leaders
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate without direct authority
- Excellent planning and organizational skills in a dynamic global environment
- Experience across regions, cultures, and organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Tableau or BI tools
- Experience with SAP, SAP IBP or similar enterprise planning systems (advantage)
