Overview
In this role you will design ICT & security infrastructure for diverse projects, delivering comprehensive design packages and risk assessments. You will collaborate with clients, BIM and project teams to ensure compliant, integrated solutions. You’ll drive design coordination, CCTV planning, and technology selections to support secure, efficient buildings. Responsibilities
- Produce security & ICT design packages (reports, drawings, specifications, procurement packs)
- Conduct Threat, Vulnerability And Risk Assessments
- Advise on client requirements for security planning
- Design CCTV systems including FOV planning and analytics
- Coordinate with BIM/engineering teams and perform clash detection
- Prepare management and client reports; represent RED at technical meetings
- Support project delivery to RED processes (PM, QA/QC, Technical Review)
- Develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models; emphasize design coordination
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and building regulations
- Understand client requirements technically and operationally
- Coordinate with electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Manage workload to deliver timely outputs
- Demonstrate knowledge of MS Office and IT-related calculations
Key requirements
- Engineering degree in Security & ICT infrastructure design (minimum 2 years’ relevant experience)
- Or: A-Level/HNC/HND/CNIDP with minimum 4 years relevant experience
