Responsibilities

• Leading electrical building services design projects from concept through to completion
• Producing detailed calculations, specifications and technical reports
• Coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects and wider project teams
• Managing client relationships and attending design meetings
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities for repeat work

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Proven experience in a Building Services Consultancy
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
• Experience using Amtech, Dialux/Relux and AutoCAD/Revit
• Good knowledge of current Building Regulations and British Standards
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Chartered status or progress towards chartership advantageous
