Overview
In this role you will lead technical projects for live events from brief to delivery, coordinating budgets, planning, and onsite execution. You work closely with internal teams and clients to shape proposals and ensure successful outcomes. The position blends hands-on technical management with relationship building to deliver high-end solutions for brands and venues. A hybrid arrangement after six months adds flexibility while you own critical project milestones and safety planning.

Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle from client brief to delivery
- Review briefs, identify technical needs, and propose practical solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, technical plans, and responses
- Build and maintain client relationships through clear communication
- Produce quotations, equipment specs, and technical documentation
- Manage budgets, logistics, and resources for efficient delivery
- Lead and coordinate technical teams across multiple projects
- Oversee onsite delivery of lighting, audio, and video systems
- Support health and safety with appropriate technical planning and documentation
Key requirements
- Extensive experience as a Technical Project / Production Manager or similar role
- Strong live event technology knowledge with expertise in at least one core discipline (lighting, audio, or video)
- Broad understanding of other live event technical areas
- Experience with system design, technical planning, and project implementation
- Able to produce technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Budget management, quotations, and commercial decision support
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and rental management software
- Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams
