Site Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead RSE on-site activities, ensuring safe, compliant delivery of civil works in the water sector. You report to the Project Manager and coordinate sub-contractors, resources, and documentation to keep projects on track. You’ll balance safety, quality, and efficiency while adapting to changing site conditions. This is a frontline position with a focus on delivering market-leading water treatment and civil solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and allocate tasks to Trade Operatives on site
• Ensure Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management compliance
• Keep all project documentation up to date and inspection-ready
• Plan and organise works for safe and efficient execution
• Conduct competence assessments under company timetable
• Discuss work matters with trades operatives and contractors
• Liaise with other departments and on-site contractors
• Provide project progress updates and resource forecasts to Project Manager

Key requirements

• Experience in the water sector is advantageous
• Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in ducting, foundations and earthworks/groundworks
• Demonstrable supervisory experience
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• CSCS
• Awareness of Health & Safety practices
• Ability to manage changing priorities on site
• Full UK Driving Licence
