Django Developer – Investment Management

Overview

As a Django Developer for an investment management client in London, you will help shape financial services platforms from concept to delivery. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable backend and tooling for Sales, Research and Operations. You’ll own architecture for greenfield projects while maintaining a legacy system until deprecation. This role offers exposure to a high-profile fintech environment with opportunities to impact product direction and processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial services platforms in collaboration with engineering
• Take ownership from concept to delivery and build secure tech
• Participate in sprints and manage product backlog
• Define and build architecture for greenfield projects
• Ensure code follows best practices and is well tested
• Maintain legacy systems until deprecation

Key requirements

• 2:1 Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Chemistry degree from a Red Brick UK or EU University
• Django
