Overview
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in International Business and Strategy, you will help the School understand how firms compete and create value in a global, tech-enabled economy. You will teach international business and strategy across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and contribute to contemporary curricula linking theory with real-world challenges. You will develop a strong research profile and collaborate across disciplines, engaging with international partners and policy stakeholders. You will mentor students and colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, and support employability and academic citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Deliver teaching on international business and/or strategy across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
- Develop curricula and contribute to programme and module design
- Build and maintain a strong research profile with high-quality outputs
- Engage in interdisciplinary research and collaboration across the School and university
- Foster collaborations with international academic partners and business or policy stakeholders
- Support student employability, academic citizenship, and mentoring of students and colleagues
- Lead modules or programme activity and contribute to the School’s strategic priorities (Senior Lecturer level)
Key requirements
- Expertise in international business, business strategy, or related areas
- Ability to teach international business and/or strategy to diverse cohorts
- Record of research activity or potential to produce field-advancing research
- Experience or openness to interdisciplinary collaboration and external partnerships
- Industry, consultancy, or policy experience in strategy-oriented roles is advantageous
