Pre-Commissioning Engineer

Overview

In this role you help ensure safe, compliant water systems in building services. You will flush and clean closed low-temperature hot water and chilled water systems, and chlorinate domestic water systems, while producing accurate test sheets. You’ll represent the firm on-site, building strong client relationships and supporting service delivery with attention to BSRIA and COSHH standards. The position offers travel across Essex/Kent, a company van, and clear opportunities for growth within the business. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines technical work with field leadership and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Flushing and cleaning closed low-temperature hot water and chilled water systems
• Chlorinating domestic water systems across storage tanks and pipework
• Producing accurate test sheets and reports via company software/apps
• Building strong relationships with clients on-site

Key requirements

• 2 years’ industry experience
• Hands-on flushing/water treatment experience within building services
• Solid grasp of BSRIA and COSHH standards
• Comfortable with occasional overnight travel (up to 100 miles)
• UK Driving Licence and CSCS SkillCard desirable
