Overview
In this role you will design, simulate, and implement RF and analogue circuits for defence-related projects, focusing on stability, impedance, and wideband performance. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to integrate, test, and troubleshoot high-performance systems and contribute to design reviews. You will prepare precise technical documentation and support the Technical Lead while mentoring junior engineers. Your work will advance mission-critical solutions and compliance with industry standards in a collaborative, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and implement RF and analogue circuits and systems for defence projects
- Hands-on integration, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimize performance
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve outcomes
- Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation (design specs, test plans, results)
- Provide technical support to the Technical Lead (risk management, customer meetings input)
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior engineers for team growth
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside the project team
- Comply with Roke policies and design/development processes
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Foster collaboration and adherence to safety standards and industry best practices
