Overview
In this role, you will support a top-tier corporate practice in Bristol, handling high-quality transactions for a range of clients from startups to international entities. You will work closely with Partners and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to complex deals and cross-border matters while developing sector knowledge. You’ll contribute to delivering commercially informed advice and building lasting client relationships in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities
- Advise on M&A, venture capital, private equity, cross-border matters, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings
- Support Partners and senior lawyers on high-value transactions
- Develop sector knowledge and relationships with clients across private equity, venture capital, funds, and public/private companies
- Manage matters with independence and collaboration while maintaining high attention to detail
- Contribute to delivering commercially informed, strategic advice in a fast-paced team
Key requirements
- 3-4 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Strong drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of M&A, venture capital, and private equity
- Ability to manage matters independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
