Overview

In this role you help safeguard the equities trading business by strengthening data integrity and controls, while driving efficiency through process improvements. You will collaborate with trading, treasury, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliant processes in a fast-paced environment. You’ll tackle data issues, automate manual tasks, and support audits, contributing to a robust control framework. This position offers growth in a global, cross-functional setting with meaningful impact on the business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and enhance controls for daily and monthly balance sheet and liquidity processes
  • Identify risks early and ensure robust data and reporting
  • Seek and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working
  • Automate manual tasks and challenge existing processes
  • Reconcile trading positions, balances, and valuations with accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve data mismatches and issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations
  • Participate in control testing and maintain clear process documentation
  • Support audits and knowledge sharing across teams
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Alteryx
  • Collaborate with trading, treasury, operations, and finance teams to align goals and share ideas

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, STEM, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in product control, financial analysis, or similar analytical role
  • Understanding of equities products such as cash equities, equity derivatives, swaps, and financing business
  • Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, control enhancement, or automation initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
