Overview
In this role you will own the stability, capability and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment, solving shop-floor issues and supporting new product introduction and change control. You will rotate across printer, print head and fluids cells to gain cross-site knowledge and drive tangible improvements in cycle time, throughput and cost. You’ll work closely with operators and production teams to implement improvements and maintain process documentation, contributing to Linx’s manufacturing excellence within the Veralto network.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve manufacturing process stability and capability
- Lead technical problem solving on the shop floor
- Support new product introduction and engineering change control
- Rotational exposure across printer, head, and fluids cells to build broad knowledge
- Maintain process documentation (work instructions, control plans, PFMEA, standard work)
- Identify and implement improvements to cycle time, throughput, ergonomics and cost
- Carry out TPM-based maintenance and provide manufacturing input to NPD/NPI
- Build credibility with operators to implement improvements on the shop floor
Key requirements
- Fast-paced manufacturing/engineering experience (maintenance, design, or manufacturing engineering)
- Engineering qualification or relevant experience (+3 years)
- Ability to understand complex problems quickly and implement robust solutions
- Experience designingMechanical solutions (tools, jigs, fixtures, test equipment)
- Strong hands-on skills with equipment and manufacturing cells
- Passion for continuous improvement and track record of waste reduction and productivity gains
- Strong problem-solving capability
- Effective communication with operators and cross-functional teams
- Practical, hands-on approach to troubleshooting
- Mechanical design of tooling, jigs, fixtures or test equipment
- Root-cause analysis and problem-solving on manufacturing lines
- Process documentation and control plans (PFMEA, standard work)
