Overview

In this role you will own end-to-end sourcing and contracting for key categories, driving value and resilience across UK and France sites. You will lead negotiations, manage supplier performance, and balance cost, risk, and sustainability to ensure secure supply and high-quality service. You’ll work closely with Planning, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to align supplier capabilities with production needs. This is a high-growth, fast-paced position that offers hybrid work and opportunities to shape supplier strategy in a transforming business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, and negotiations for assigned categories
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts with clear commercial terms
  • Manage supplier relationships and proactive risk management including contingencies
  • Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities
  • Maintain accurate supplier contract records in ERP with pricing and validity
  • Collaborate with NPD and Quality for supplier approvals and improvements
  • Coordinate with Planning to align supplier lead times and constraints with production requirements
  • Monitor markets and supplier performance, risk, and sustainability

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in procurement within FMCG
  • Proven supplier relationship management and performance improvement
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in ERP systems and procurement data management
  • Strong commercial mindset with TCO and risk management understanding
  • Attention to detail with data analysis and root-cause identification
  • Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders
  • Collaborative cross-functional work with operations, planning, and quality
  • Willingness to travel domestically and overseas
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent desirable but not essential
