Overview
In this role you join a prestigious international law firm’s real estate team to lead high‑end development and investment work. You will leverage an established following or the ability to grow one, tackling complex transactions for investors, developers and funds. You’ll collaborate with top lawyers and contribute to growing the firm’s sophisticated real estate practice. This is a platform for expanding your client base and leading significant, cross‑border deals.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial property development and investment transactions
- Handle acquisition and disposal work, including land and portfolio deals
- Work on development funding, site acquisitions, and disposals
- Manage joint ventures, development structures, and strategic land projects
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related matters
- Act for investors, developers, funds and corporate occupiers
- Collaborate with international clients and leverage firm resources to scale practice
Key requirements
- Strong technical expertise in commercial property
- Significant experience in development and/or investment transactions
- Commercially focused client relationship skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proven track record of business development
