Real Estate Litigation Associate

Overview

In this role you join a busy Real Estate Disputes team to handle high-quality property disputes for a diverse client base. You will advise on pre-action risk, asset management, and a range of commercial and high-value residential disputes, including mediation, arbitration and litigation. You’ll work closely with cross‑practice colleagues to deliver pragmatic, high-quality advice. Responsibilities

• Advise on pre-action risk and asset management
• Handle a broad range of commercial and high-value residential property disputes
• Manage mediation, arbitration and litigation matters
• Collaborate with other dispute resolution and non-contentious real estate specialists
• Build hands-on experience across a varied client base and sector mix
• Contribute to maintaining a collaborative, high-quality practice culture

Key requirements

• Relevant exposure to working on high-quality real estate disputes
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and able to work autonomously
• Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer
