Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design and delivery for major client projects from concept to completion
  • Deliver innovative, practical, and cost-effective HVAC/mechanical solutions across varied project scopes
  • Participate in technical reviews and design assurance to meet high standards
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams and support interdisciplinary reviews
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships to drive project success
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to grow local and national teams
  • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation

Key requirements

  • 10+ years ofexperience in Building Services consultancy or senior-level mechanical design
  • Strong technical design experience across HVAC and mechanical engineering
  • Proven delivery of defence and/or data-centre sector projects
  • Strong track record in client management, project delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building services codes and standards
  • Australian citizenship; defence security clearance considered highly advantageous
