Overview

In this role you will lead Arm’s roadmap and capacity planning at enterprise scale, shaping governance and value-led decisions. You will manage a small team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to mature portfolio capabilities, data quality, and planning tooling. Your work will connect strategy to actionable roadmaps, ensuring readiness and informed investment decisions. This is a chance to drive impact across IP, silicon, CSS, SoC, and software while engaging senior leaders and enterprise portfolios. You will help Arm turn strategy into measurable delivery and value.

Responsibilities

  • Define vision and operating model for roadmap and capacity planning, establishing governance and execution rhythm.
  • Lead a small team covering roadmap, governance, capacity, and delivery planning.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Portfolio and Product Planning to mature enterprise portfolio capabilities.
  • Ensure roadmaps are standards-led, high quality, and used to inform portfolio, investment, lifecycle, and delivery decisions.
  • Coordinate resource planning, prioritisation, and escalation processes across the organisation.
  • Build frameworks linking capacity to strategic value, impact, risk, and product outcomes.
  • Lead scenario planning for demand, staffing, timing, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Support product and solution approvals and readiness across the lifecycle.
  • Partner with Business Units to prepare proposals for executives and the Portfolio Board.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Business Units, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, and Manufacturing.
  • Balance agility and structure to scale planning, foster shared ownership, and enable constructive challenge.

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in portfolio management, product management, long-term planning, or business planning.
  • Proven ability to set vision, build capability, lead a team, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience in roadmap governance, capacity planning, resource management, and investment prioritisation.
  • Strong understanding of ERM tools, capacity planning processes, and value-led prioritisation.
  • Excellent business judgement connecting demand, capacity, investment, lifecycle readiness, and outcomes.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and executive forums.
  • Good understanding of the semiconductor industry and Arm’s product range.
  • Ability to translate complex portfolio data into clear executive recommendations.
