Programme Management Office Lead

Overview

As Programme Management Office Lead, you will oversee a PMO across multiple locations to ensure high-quality delivery support for the Digital Services unit. You’ll define staffing and PMO duties, manage performance and career development, and partner with Delivery, Operations, and Sales teams to meet demand. You’ll drive process improvements, govern monthly closures, and guide client PMO alignment to keep projects on track. This is a people-focused, fast-moving role with a clear impact on delivery excellence and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PMO team across multiple locations
• Define duties, SLAs, and communication to the business
• Prioritise tasks to meet goals
• Manage team performance and career development
• Support Delivery Managers with onboarding, risk and contract management
• Oversee unfunded time codes and act as approval/challenge point
• Coordinate with Operations to meet demand from Delivery, Staffing and Sales
• Ensure month-end closure process compliance
• Handle escalations and issues
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Match skills to gaps and drive continual service improvement
• Route PMO support requests via Jira and track team SLAs
• Provide guidance to client PMO teams for smooth project execution
• Perform ad-hoc duties for Delivery/Operations Heads as required

Key requirements
