Overview

In this fixed-term role, you design end-to-end architectures that align with business goals and drive strategic outcomes. You’ll guide the portfolio of solutions, collaborate with product teams, and ensure architectural integrity across domains. You will shape future-state architectures, lead governance, and support delivery teams from design through implementation. The role integrates with Azure, SaaS, and CMS platforms to enable scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that support the Bank’s mission and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex requirements into architectural blueprints and document designs for alignment with current and long-term objectives
  • Maintain architectural runway with product owners and collaborate with Technical Architects to guide implementation
  • Evaluate future-state architecture, identify debt and misalignment, and guide technology refreshes
  • Develop roadmaps and provide enterprise and delivery-level guidance to ensure alignment with capabilities and value streams
  • Deliver enterprise designs and artefacts and support architecture governance with the PMO and delivery teams
  • Lead systems architecture for integration and data flows across the enterprise, ensuring scalability and resilience
  • Provide guidance on Adobe Experience Manager for digital experience and CMS platforms and govern Low/No Code on Power Platform
  • Evaluate SaaS products and integrations for security and architectural fit, considering TCO and fit-for-purpose design
  • Create end-to-end designs spanning SaaS, Low/No Code, CMS, and information management using Azure services
  • Act as trusted advisor across Information Management, Knowledge Management, Risk, Communications, and Editorial functions
  • Translate business needs into cost-aware, scalable, and user-friendly solutions while partnering with sponsors and delivery teams

Key requirements

  • Strong communication of complex technical concepts to stakeholders
  • Experience capturing requirements and documenting them with visuals (PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Stakeholder engagement to align architecture with business goals
  • Experience in Agile, DevOps, and product-aligned teams
  • TOGAF knowledge and application
  • Expertise in solution integration, process orchestration, and data flow design
  • Experience supporting enterprise change initiatives
  • Knowledge of knowledge management solutions
  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and governance
  • SaaS platforms, identity and access management (Microsoft Entra), and integration approaches
  • Enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
  • Azure-based solution architecture experience
  • Java application design and development collaboration with engineering teams
  • Data, security, compliance and risk awareness in shared service functions
  • Track record delivering architecture in Legal/Compliance/Risk/Communications domains
  • Leadership of architecture on cross-functional projects and influencing senior decision-makers
  • SaaS, Low/No Code and custom development in enterprise environments
  • Ability to create architectural artefacts for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Professional certifications desirable: TOGAF, Microsoft Certified (Power Platform, Azure Solutions Architect), Adobe AEM certifications
  • Clear, effective communicator with stakeholders
