In this role you will deliver a comprehensive project controls service for major infrastructure projects, integrating reporting, earned value management, and critical path analysis to support delivery. You will lead safety-focused, high-quality execution and help shape PMO frameworks and stakeholder engagement. You’ll manage cost, schedule, risk, and reporting teams, mentor staff, and contribute to long-term improvement. Responsibilities
- Deliver a comprehensive project controls service with reporting, earned value management, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, and critical path analysis for major projects
- Ensure safe, high-quality and compliant delivery while promoting inclusion and wellbeing
- Develop and implement PMO and project controls frameworks to support best-in-class service and stakeholder engagement
- Manage teams across cost, schedule, risk and reporting, contributing to long-term strategic improvement
- Mentor teams, promote knowledge sharing, and support resourcing and recruitment for the commission
Key requirements
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development
- Degree qualified with seven years’ relevant experience in linear infrastructure delivery
- Strong infrastructure project and programme delivery expertise
- Proven commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management
- Experienced leader with sustainability and carbon awareness
