Overview

In this role you will drive high-quality, risk-based audit work across the business within Group Internal Audit. You will lead audit engagements, manage resources, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery while strengthening the control framework. You’ll engage with key stakeholders, anticipate regulatory changes, and provide independent assurance to protect value for TP ICAP. This position offers exposure to a dynamic, high-pressure environment and opportunities to shape risk management practices across global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality audit reports on time and within budget for a portfolio of audits (~40-50 per year)
  • Line-manage audit staff on assignments and ensure quality and compliance with GIA methodologies
  • Travel 10–20% as needed to complete engagements and build stakeholder relationships
  • Execute a dynamic, risk-based audit plan focusing on significant business risks
  • Monitor regulatory and business changes and assess impact on controls
  • Present control gaps and viable recommendations to management and track remediation
  • Influence stakeholders to embed risk management practices and strengthen control frameworks
  • Provide input to Audit Committee discussions on significant risks and remediation actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business plans with risk assessments
  • Contribute to team performance objectives and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

  • Experienced Auditor with prior experience leading internal audits
  • Qualified to ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CISM or similar
  • Effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders
  • Builds relationships and networks across internal and external parties
  • Strong customer focus and teamwork orientation
  • Resilient under pressure; handles disagreements constructively
