Overview

In this role you will provide analytical support to the Models & Analytics Manager, shaping credit decisioning through data analysis, reporting and data quality initiatives. You will work within the Credit Risk function to produce insightful risk packs, support impairment management, and collaborate with data vendors and third-party models. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, collaborative banking environment that values precision, data-driven decisions and accountability. You will contribute to scalable risk analytics that underpin prudent lending and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support credit decisioning models with data analytics and statistical analysis
  • Produce regular credit risk reporting packs aligned with Group standards
  • Champion data quality initiatives to improve analysis and reporting
  • Assist Credit Risk team with reporting activities and ad hoc projects
  • Support impairment management with monthly controls and oversight

Key requirements

  • Strong data analytics capability
  • High accuracy and professional presentation of results
  • Understanding of accounting/financial information
  • Knowledge of real estate banking finance products
  • Experience with analytics tools (Power BI, Ultrix, Tableau)
  • Experience with credit decision models and third-party data vendors
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SAS, and Python (beneficial)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS9, PD, LGD models
