Overview
In this EMC-focused role, you will design and validate electronic systems to meet EMC/RE standards and supportMBDA programs across the full engineering lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape robust test plans and bespoke solutions, enhancing the safety and performance of defence electronics. The role combines hands-on design with consultancy duties to ensure best EMC practice across projects. Responsibilities
- Advise on EMC-focused product design to meet requirements
- Design and produce test plans and bespoke electronic test solutions
- Support development of new test capabilities for the EMC facility
- Lead and deliver significant electronic design work packages
- Collaborate with project teams across the engineering lifecycle to ensure EMC compliance
Key requirements
- Higher education or significant experience in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC or related fields
- Significant experience in electronic design, development and delivery
- Experience leading major electronic design work packages
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with SPICE tools (LTspice, ORCAD)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet defined deadlines and budgets
- Autonomous and adaptable to changing company needs
