Overview

In this role you will own frontend delivery within a modular operations platform, shaping accessible, design-system-driven interfaces for diverse users. You will collaborate with product and operations stakeholders to translate evolving needs into practical UI that complies with WCAG. By leveraging a shared design system and clear API contracts, you’ll deliver production-grade interfaces while respecting team boundaries. This is an opportunity to influence how executives, analysts, and engineers view and interact with complex operational data at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end frontend delivery for a large modular operations platform
  • Translate ambiguous requirements into accessible, WCAG-compliant UI
  • Design interfaces for multiple user personas (executives, operations analysts, on-call engineers)
  • Build production frontend using the shared design system and product-area conventions
  • Clarify status, exceptions and evidence to reduce operational risk and confusion
  • Engage with operations/business stakeholders to understand workflows and translate them into UI
  • Work within defined API contracts and ownership boundaries across teams

Key requirements

  • Ownership of UI/UX delivery from concept to production
  • Stakeholder engagement with operations or business teams
  • Accessible, design-system-driven UI built with a shared component library
  • Design for multiple personas with evolving or incomplete requirements
  • Understanding operational workflows and surfacing status/evidence clearly
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JSX
  • React 18 and native Web APIs
  • Design systems and tokens (Radix UI, Base UI, ShadCN, Tailwind-merge, etc.)
  • Styling with Tailwind CSS and CSS naming conventions
  • Build tooling (esbuild, Vite, Node.js build scripts)
  • Accessibility, ARIA, WCAG 2.x
  • Data visualization tools (Grafana Scenes, RxJS, Recharts)
