Overview

In this role you will lead the design and execution of a solutions design programme within Primark’s evolving supply chain. You will shape omnichannel fulfillment strategy, optimise logistics networks, and drive scalable, data-driven improvements across warehousing, distribution, click & collect, and reverse logistics. You will partner with Digital Retail, Finance, Inbound, Logistics, Procurement, and Technology to deliver value, resilience, and cost efficiency. This is a pivotal, growth-focused opportunity to influence end-to-end supply chain transformation at a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead long-term e-commerce supply chain strategies aligned with growth, customer experience, service levels, and cost targets
  • Assess and optimise fulfilment network capacity, throughput, resilience, and efficiency for future growth
  • Prepare business cases and strategic recommendations for network expansion, automation, and operational improvements
  • Design and implement scalable fulfilment solutions across warehousing, distribution, click & collect, and reverse logistics
  • Manage complex cross-functional programmes from concept to implementation with measurable benefits
  • Leverage data, modelling, and forecasting to identify productivity, cost, and service opportunities
  • Build partnerships across operations, technology, finance, property, and retail to influence strategic decisions
  • Define and drive automation and innovation roadmap using emerging technologies to improve efficiency and availability

Key requirements

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in solutions design and project management within fulfilment and logistics
  • Strong understanding of automation technology and engineering
  • Proven track record in operational excellence and project delivery
  • Experience leading teams and large-scale programmes
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar AEC design packages
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with budget and cost optimisation experience
