Job ID: 21177Salary: 65,000 – 85,000 + pkgLocation: SuffolkRegion: Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, SuffolkA major contractors specialist piling and ground engineering arm is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to manager a variety of Piling / Ground Engineering / D Walling packages on a multi million pound project in Suffolk . Working as part of the management team, reporting to the Ops Director and managing site teams consisting of Agents, Sub Agent, Engineers, Foreman and Sub Contractors. The ideal person:

• Must have extensive experience of operating at PM level on civil engineering schemes

n

• Previous experience of Piling, civil, earthworks, and ground Engineering

n

• Degree qualified and have the ability to manage a project teamResponsibilities:

n

• To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction

n

• Plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner

n

• Coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division

n

• Ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely

n

• Jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff

n

• Liaison with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients

n

• To deliver project schemes profitably and to time to enhance companies reputation and look to further business

n

• To assist in recognising new client targets and developing an approach to target with Commercial ManagerAs part of a competitive salary you will recieve a comprehenive package which includes a car or allowence, pension and 25 days holiday
