Overview
Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor sought to lead a skilled team in a COMAH environment. You will drive safe, reliable plant performance by coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, and coordinating shutdowns with internal teams and contractors. You’ll work closely with Operations, EC&I, Planning, Reliability and EHS to continuously improve safety and reliability, while advancing maintenance practices and record-keeping in SAP/CMMS. This hands‑on leadership role offers meaningful impact on site performance and safety culture.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Mechanical Maintenance Technicians
- Coordinate planned, preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance to keep the plant running safely and reliably
- Support site shutdown planning and execution with internal teams, contractors, materials and specialists
- Manage mechanical contractors, ensuring work is safe and to required standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow-up actions within SAP/CMMS
- Collaborate with Operations, EC&I, Planning, Reliability and EHS to improve safety, reliability and performance
Key requirements
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Strong industrial mechanical maintenance experience across rotating/static equipment and drive systems
- Experience leading technicians and coordinating maintenance including shutdowns
- Experience managing contractors and working with safe systems of work, isolations and permit-to-work procedures
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and reliability improvement skills
- Experience using a CMMS, ideally SAP
- Calm, practical approach with the ability to prioritize and make confident technical decisions
