Mobile Engineering Manager

Overview

In this leadership role, you guide the Mobile Platform team to elevate the app’s architecture, capabilities, and release pipelines. You will partner with Principal Engineers and cross-functional teams to drive the mobile strategy, improve performance, and deliver high-impact, scalable projects. You’ll mentor engineers, manage delivery across the SDLC, and ensure quality in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Your work helps shape a first-class mobile experience at Zopa, underpinning the bank’s mission to deliver delightful customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Mobile Platform team, ensuring high performance and quality across the SDLC
• Collaborate with Principal Engineer and mobile community to execute technical strategy for the app
• Manage stakeholders across the business, aligning product and engineering roadmaps
• Drive delivery of high-profile strategic projects at scale and oversee architecture and distribution improvements
• Foster structure, accountability, and clarity in ambiguous situations
• Balance technical acumen with project management to deliver impactful outcomes

• Experience leading mobile engineering teams and owning mobile applications
