Programme Delivery Lead

Overview

In this role you will oversee complex technology delivery programmes, aligning roadmaps with execution to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and quality. You’ll partner with the technology team and senior leaders to increase cohesion, visibility, and risk management, while driving continuous improvement. You will provide regular metrics, enable effective governance, and embed AI and automation to accelerate delivery. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on delivering value to customers and the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Draft and own end-to-end programme plans with delivery teams
• Coordinate cross-team workstreams and manage dependencies
• Identify, track and mitigate cross-team risks and blockers
• Drive execution to meet time, scope and quality targets
• Contribute to delivery roadmaps and governance for clear decision-making
• Provide timely, structured progress reports to leads and stakeholders
• Identify useful delivery metrics in collaboration with Product and Engineering
• Maintain delivery metric tools (AWS Quick suite, JIRA, Plandek) and monthly timesheet reporting
• Track capitalisation forecast vs actual with Finance
• Deliver monthly roadmap updates with changes highlighted
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and embed AI/automation in processes
• Mentor associate level roles and foster collaboration and accountability

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading programme deliveries with inter-dependencies
• Experience creating and managing programme plans and governance structures
• Track record of delivering programmes within scope/time/resource constraints
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience with project management tools
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and resource coordination skills
• Experience tracking and improving delivery performance and execution quality
• Proactive mindset and ability to drive progress
• Strong interpersonal skills with technical/non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capability
