Overview

You lead strategic, cross-functional technology and business initiatives from discovery to value realisation. You’ll partner with senior sponsors, product and engineering leaders, and external partners to translate priorities into measurable delivery outcomes. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic, cross-functional programmes from discovery through value realisation
• Define programme scope, objectives, priorities, governance and success measures with senior sponsors
• Translate objectives into structured roadmaps, milestones and operating rhythms
• Coordinate multiple teams, workstreams and external partners for aligned delivery
• Establish programme governance including steering forums and decision logs
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, issues and impediments
• Manage budgets, resources and external delivery partners per priorities
• Apply appropriate delivery methods (Agile, hybrid, or traditional)
• Monitor delivery performance and communicate insights to leadership
• Facilitate strategic discussions and support evidence-based decisions
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and capability
• Build trusted relationships across business, product, technology and R&D
• Define and track KPIs and delivery metrics to demonstrate value
• Support change management and stakeholder adoption for benefits realization
• Develop and mentor delivery teams and promote best practices

Key requirements

• Experience leading complex cross-functional technology and business transformation programmes using Agile
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple technology teams, workstreams and stakeholders
• Strong programme and portfolio management with clear roadmaps and outcomes
• End-to-end software and product delivery lifecycle understanding
• Experience delivering in complex enterprise, R&D, data-intensive or regulated environments
• Ability to manage governance, plans, milestones, risks and impediments
• Excellent stakeholder-management and influencing skills across organisational levels
• Strong strategic thinking, ambiguity navigation and decision support
• Exceptional communication for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience managing budgets, resources and delivery capacity for large-scale initiatives
• Vendor management and coordination of external delivery partners
• Experience defining and tracking delivery metrics and business value
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Desirable: SAFe, RTE, MSP/PRINCE2/PMP certifications and cloud delivery exposure
