Delivery Manager

Overview

In this Delivery Manager role, you lead end-to-end AI projects for prominent UK public sector clients, bridging research and operational needs. You’ll collaborate with government stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure high-impact, value-driven delivery. You act as the trusted adviser on AI strategy and implementation in high-stakes environments. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI projects for public sector clients
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand mission challenges and user needs
• Coordinate with technical, innovation and client teams to drive delivery
• Manage projects and ensure value-driven delivery approach
• Build trusted relationships to translate research into actionable requirements
• Develop and execute proposals to grow footprint and impact in Public Services
• Advise clients on AI strategy and implementation with support from technical teams
• Mentor peers and help establish robust team processes

Key requirements

• Experience in consultancy or service-based delivery managing complex lifecycles
• Proven background in Public Services (government, academia, or industry)
• Exposure to working with GDS-style digital products and delivering AI-enabled government services
• Full ownership of project delivery from scoping to end-user adoption
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences
• Experience delivering technical projects, ideally in AI
• Practical problem-solver with proactive risk mitigation
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous settings with structured problem-solving
