MRO Delivery Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead multiple aircraft maintenance programmes, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within quality and cost targets. You’ll manage hangar resources and cross-functional teams, driving productivity, CI, and a positive, high-performance culture. You’ll partner with senior delivery leaders to maximise value, optimize schedules, and sustain safe operations. This is a hands-on leadership role at Marshall’s aviation MRO hub, combining operational excellence with continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate up to 5 maintenance teams delivering heavy maintenance
• Ensure safe, timely delivery to agreed schedule within QSCPD targets
• Develop and implement hangar-level KPIs to demonstrate QSCPD
• Drive hangar productivity and cost performance with other MRO Delivery Managers
• Lead integrated project teams to maximise resource utilization
• Develop and engage teams in value-added CI initiatives
• Ensure hangar facility compliance e.g. bay audits and procedural adherence
• Balance priorities across teams and report aircraft status in escalation forums
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence
• Support pre-input planning to align deliverables and inputs
• Drive schedule delivery and recovery actions when plans slip
• Foster Just culture and maintain airworthiness and risk management
• Develop team capabilities in IFS & Power BI and other systems

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience essential
• Proven operational leadership experience managing multiple teams
• Proven change management experience
• Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean implementations
• Experience in Aerospace MRO environment and regulations
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor staff
• Experience with ERP/EWS systems
• NEBOSH/IOSH qualification desirable
• EASA B Licence Holder or equivalent for C Release approval desirable
