Delivery Manager (Safety)

Overview

In this Delivery Manager role, you drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact AI safety projects, coordinating between customers and data science teams to translate cutting-edge safety research into practical solutions. You’ll oversee frontier model evaluations and collaborate with government and public sector clients, including labs like OpenAI and Anthropic, to deliver trustworthy AI capabilities. You’ll shape strategy, governance, and safe deployment at scale, contributing to a mission-driven, safety-first AI program.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery from scoping to implementation
• Collaborate with customers and technical teams to design innovative AI solutions
• Manage project development to maximize customer value
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, data scientists, and partners
• Develop and execute proposals to expand AI safety and governance work across sectors
• Advise clients on AI safety strategy and technical implementation as a trusted partner
• Mentor peers and help establish robust processes and practices

Key requirements

• Passion for Applied AI safety, from labs, academia, or evaluation/red-teaming roles
• Experience in professional services (consulting, technology, or data)
• Owns successful project delivery from scoping to user adoption
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders
• Experience working with technical teams and delivering AI projects
