Overview

In this role you will handle high-value construction and engineering disputes for world-class clients, spanning the UK and internationally. You will shape dispute strategies across the project lifecycle, including avoiding disputes and pursuing formal resolution via adjudication, arbitration, litigation, and ADR. You will work closely with partners, develop client relationships, and benefit from a structured academy for ongoing development in a leading, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value, complex disputes across the project lifecycle (risk strategy, problem solving, dispute resolution)
• Advise on contractual and dispute avoidance matters for construction, energy, and infrastructure projects
• Lead or support adjudication, arbitration, litigation, mediation and other ADR processes
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and contribute to business development
• Collaborate with partners and cross-border colleagues to deliver market-leading advisory work
• Participate in training programs and secondments to deepen client exposure and project delivery
• Contribute to shaping dispute strategies and governance for large projects

Key requirements

• 6+ years’ PQE with strong experience in construction and engineering disputes and advisory work
• Technically excellent, commercially minded and solutions-focused
• Strong client-facing, communication, and organizational skills
• Proactive team player with ability to collaborate in a high-performing team
