Senior Full Stack Engineer – Vialto Rewards – Senior Manager

Overview

In this role, you will design, build, and operate secure, scalable products for compensation collection, shadow payroll, and equity for complex multinational employers. You will own end-to-end features across frontend and backend, work in a regulated environment, and drive AI-enabled workflows. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to translate regulations into technical plans and deliver production-ready solutions. Responsibilities

• Build and evolve modern web experiences for Compensation Collection, Shadow Payroll, and Equity using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Design and implement backend services and APIs in C#, .NET, and WebAPI to support data ingestion, payroll calculations, and equity processing, with integrations to client HR systems
• Deliver Azure-native implementations of payroll engines and data pipelines using PaaS services and secure patterns
• Contribute to architecture for multi-country payroll and equity domains, including REST and event-driven integration patterns
• Own production readiness: logging, monitoring, alerting, reconciliation tooling, incident response, and documentation for payroll cycles and equity deadlines
• Apply secure development practices for handling sensitive data (privacy, audits, country-specific rules)
• Partner with product and domain experts to translate regulatory requirements into technical plans
• Use agentic development tools (Claude Code, Codex) and spec-driven workflows to accelerate design and implementation
• Design and implement AI-powered features (data extraction, anomaly detection, LLM-assisted workflows, RAG)
• Evaluate and integrate AI APIs and toolchains with a focus on responsible AI and observability
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance

Key requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development
• Strong experience with Next.js and/or React (TypeScript)
• Strong backend experience in C# and .NET (ASP.NET, WebAPI)
• Proven Azure cloud experience with PaaS services
• Experience in regulated/compliance-oriented environments (security, privacy, data handling)
• Solid understanding of design patterns, scalable architecture, and reconciliation in calculation-heavy systems
• Experience with agentic/AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Codex) and AI-enhanced workflows
• Experience delivering AI-enabled features (LLM APIs, prompt design)
