Overview
In this ECM placement, you support capital-raising projects for Citi’s corporate, private equity, and government clients. You will learn through hands-on experience with pitchbooks, financial analysis, and transaction processes while collaborating with M&A and Debt Capital Markets teams. The program emphasizes growth, cross-functional exposure, and potential full-time placement after graduation. You will engage with global sales, clients, and management to understand investor dynamics and deal terms. This role combines learning with real impact in a fast-paced, global banking environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop pitchbooks and execute ECM mandates, coordinating with related teams
- Manage transaction processes including compliance checks and approvals
- Analyze financial data and build/interpret financial models (valuations, DCF, pro-forma, comps)
- Develop dialogue with Citi’s global sales force and align activities across the franchise
Key requirements
- Penultimate year of university
- Expected 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline
- Availability to start in January 2027
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and quick information assimilation
- Teamwork and ability to work as an individual contributor under tight deadlines
- Financial analysis and valuation (DCF, comparatives, stand-alone valuations)
